Our speaker Mike Jones – was the one who created the script that detects if you have flash and what kind of version you have. That was his ticket to fame – as he described it. The seminar was successful with some of the topics prurging some ooh and ahhs from the audience like the Augmented reality by GMA New Media – Anthony Santos.

Of course the final topic by Mike Jones was worth waiting for and participants listened intently and at the end we were asking questions like there is no tommorrow. This seminar was a success!

article by John Imbong – FlashCamp Manila was a complete success. The time we had to plan, analyze, then execute the event was short but in the end we all pulled through. The response of the participants as well as the speakers Tom Krcha and Peter Moelgaard was great making FlashCamp Manila an achievement of international proportions.

A round of special thanks goes to AUGPhil for being such great hosts to our speakers from the moment they stepped off the plane, Phlashers for handling the logistics and coordination prior and during the event, UST for providing us with highly efficient volunteers, and lastly the Ateneo de Manila University for letting us use their brand new Theater.

Now that we’ve all had our share of experiences with FlashCamp, we now look forward to FlashCamp 2012 and what ever amazing surprises it may bring. Below are some pictures of the event including an amazing 360 virtual tour by Rey Mendoza, AUGPhil Manager.

Last week we started shooting at Timberland Heights for their virtual tour and lot mapping system (web -based) We did include some panoramic shots of the gates of the communities like Mandala, Banyan Ridge – until it started raining hard.

Next post will be some 360 shots of the Timberland Hotel and Sports Nature Club

7107 Islands Cruise Ship Party

I recently had a chance to shoot a local cruise ship party. 7107 Islands is a local cruise ship that travels to Corregidor, Palawan and Boracay. We got there at around 8pm although the registration was only up to 7pm. Horrendous traffic was all over Roxas Boulevard as we did not know that there will be a El Shaddai celebration that day. We had to re-route to Taft avenue to reach Pier 6, North harbor Manila.
